Everyone of us are actors throughout our life. We play different roles infront of different people, different events and different places.

This was what my CRS lecturer mentioned during one of the lectures. And I find it very true.

However, I can't seem to find the 'real me' back already. I put on different masks every single day. So much so that it just comes naturally. I don't know who I am anymore. And I don't like it like that.

I miss being a kid. Someone who can just express how she feels truly. Cry when I'm sad, laugh when I'm happy. As for now, I'll think of how the way people look at me when I do certain actions (or every actions maybe?). I'm easily affected by people's opinions. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing but I need to learn how to differentiate comments that I should or should not take in.

I don't know how to express my true feelings anymore. Of course there are times when I am really happy, or sad. But.. it's just not the same anymore. I laugh harder than I wanted to, I talk lesser than I intended to, I give the type of questions/answers that people expect me to. Every single thing I do is not really for myself, if you get what I mean. My mind is taking over my heart.

I had been having all these weird dream lately. This morning, I dreamt of pop corn chicken -.-
And all the people who appeared in my dreams are of either weird combination or people I don't really know.
WENYA, IF YOU'RE READING THIS, YOUR BROTHER APPEARED IN MY DREAM. Yes, I swear it's damn weird. Hahahaha.
There are also people who I haven't met for a long time. Maybe it's a signal, telling me that it's time to catch up with my friends. Sometimes I think I'm a really bad friend. I don't put in alot of efforts in staying in touch with my friends. Guess I need to have more initiative :/

So, it's the exam period, and I'm left with the last paper. Finally. It's a tough fight for me this semester. All the modules are kinda hard. I can say that it's the toughest semester for almost all of us. Next semester will be much more better I heard.

I'm off to bury myself in my notes!

A photo I took one or two years back while watching an Ultimate Frisbee competition.

5 days ago, I went to watch Ultimate Frisbee's very first (am I right to say this?) POL-ITE at nyp. Mainly to support SPU of course (: It brought back some memories. I really like the game of Ultimate. I like how the game is played without a referee. Playing with integrity is the spirit of the game. I also like how much they communicate with one another, in and out of the playing area. They are really good listeners and communicators. I think SP angels need to learn how to communicate like them. I admire their ability to adapt to changes quickly. Changes as in the change of wind direction, etc. It's so amazing how different kind of strategies are played according to the different environment. I like it when the two teams that played against each other come together, standing in a circle, in an alternate manner and huddle together (just like the photo above). The captains will then give comments on the play or something I think? I'm not really sure about this. Haven't been into one before. Haha. Can someone describe this to me? Heh. Ultimate Frisbee is a really challenging game in terms of skills, communications, and most importantly, teamwork. (:

Note to self: Need to learn to be more giving.

Hello people! It's been a month since my last update.

It had been quite a tough month, having to make adjustments and school work had been a chore. Like since when it isn't. Haha. Wanna thank all those who have been supporting me. I appreciate it (:

So, we had beach training last friday! Thank goodness the sun was having mercy on us, but the sand was unfriendly. Abrasions everywhere! And I sort of hurt my neck again. However, it was a good bonding session I can say. Plus the trekking at bukit timah on thursday.

I like bonding plus training sessions like these. :D

Next, I got to meet up with a few of my primary school friends, namely Jeanie, Ting En and Xin Yi! Although we don't get to meet very often, we will try to keep in contact with each other as much as we can.

I'm the only one without bangs. Haha.

I've got so many many people I want to meet up with. But I have got so much things on hand to do within this short 2 weeks of holidays. It's kind of tiring me out. I'm exhausted.

Lastly, I can't wait for thursday! Hello universal studio! A good time for me to scream all out. Whee!

*After I apply ointment on mummy's leg, she went to iron clothes. But her leg still hurts. Her leg hurt so much till she teared.

Me: Mummy, don't iron. I will iron it later. Though I don't know how to iron. Hahaha.

Mummy: Nvm, I will iron. One person suffer, better than everybody suffer.

Fyi, you're not supposed to wash hands immediately after you touch the ointment. If not.. I don't know what will happen but I know it's definitely not something good. Which was the reason why she said 'One person suffer, better than everyone suffer'. There were tears in my eyes when I heard that. What a noble mum. I love my mummy. I hope her leg will recover fast.

Things taught from today's dragon boating:

1. You may be the last initially. But you shouldn't stop trying. Who knows, after 10 attempts, you are able to achieve what you want. And compared to those who got it at the 1st attempt, you have gotten much more than them. All the lessons and experience you learnt and gained are not for nothing.

2. Even though you're losing, you should not give up. Continue to close up the gap and not let it be an easy win for your opponent.

3. TEAM. Everyone plays a part in a team. No one is useless in a team. Everybody strives hard together, towards a common goal.

4. Encouragements. Continue encouraging one another to go on, even though it's tough.

5. In a team, we don't look at individuals. You can be good but what's the point of having just one person in a team to be good? We work as a team. We tell our teammates what they are doing right or wrong and correct them to be better. That is how a team works.

There're probably more but that is all that I can recall for now.
Let's continue to move on together (: Let's go angels!

Wow, it's been almost two months since I last touch this space of mine. The last month had been an intense mugging period. All I could say is that my hard work had been paid off (: However, I think my temper hasn't been really good. I'm sorry to those who I'd threw my temper at.

An event which brought the four ex-innovians ruggers back together. I used to hate anything that has got to do with the field. Because firstly, the field, to me, is a very dirty and muddy plae. Hahaha! Secondly, I will always slip because I didn't know there's such things as boots that give you a much better grip than track shoes. From then on, I had a passion for touch rugby and continued this cca in SP. I miss the times when I always sneak into innova and train with you guys before I enrol into SP. I'm really sad that the school has closed down this cca in innova. I really hope and believe that one day, it will be back again. Love you all people. Let's get together and start touching people again!

Happy new year everybody!
It's the start of a new year, and yet I'm feeling moody. :(
"May all unhappiness be forgotten and left nothing but happy thoughts!" - Jazreel. It will be really awesome if I am able to do that. Why is unhappy thoughts able to 'overtake' happy thoughts so easily? Gah, maybe it's just the time of the month.

To sum up 2009:
1. IVP '09. My very first major tournament. Nervous breakdown :/ Third!
2. Junior Tournament. Awesome experience! SECOND! WOOOO.
3. FO camp 09/10. Super good bonding session, esp with all the fellow GLs.
4. POLITE '09. Third!
5. Training + bonding camp. Fun, but tiring ttm! Haha.
6. Night cycling with angels. BUTT PAIN. And I learnt how to cycle without using hands. Woo. Great achievement.
7. ITP. Made new friends *Winks* Great company.
8. Legalism. Thanks for the celebration! Love it <3
9. Bangkok trip. Shop till I drop!
10. Many many birthday celebrations, till I became so broke.

Hello people. I'm here for a confession. I had been living in denial all these while. And hey, guess what? I'm really not that always happy girl you always see. It just appears to be so. Ask me how do I always appear to be so smiley, so happy always, I've no idea either. Sometimes, I laugh because I don't want to show my feelings. I laugh because I want to hide. I laugh because I don't want to face the reality, the truth. I laugh even when it's not funny because I don't want the person talking to feel bad/embarrassed (when it's supposed to be funny). And also because I want to make people happy, and laugh along with me. Oh, and also to make people to feel comfortable when they're with me. Lalalalalala, I'm going to stop here.

Anw, 3 days ago was Gil's birthday. Went to chinatown to sing k. Eunice and Jie Ying surprised her by an abrupt arrival with a birthday cake. Haha. Her expression was priceless. Her eyes were watery when she read the scrapbook with all our photos and words compiled for her. Awwwww. Haha. We took a train to dhoby ghaut and then a bus to Bali Village. We missed our stop and it started raining heavily. We waited for cab and we saw Lee Kuan Yew! Okay, it started when there's this traffic police driving out and stopped all the cars. And then there were 3 cars coming out, one of which with Lee Kuan Yew in it. We didn't know it was him at first and we waved at them, just for the fun. Then, Gil and Calista saw him waving back at us! How cool. So, back to the topic. Haha. It's damn hard to hail a cab during raining days. We waited for.... I don't know how long and Gil had to ran out, into the rain to look for a cab. So, we finally reached Bali Village. Jannifer, Jia Jia and Shawn joined us there. The zhi char is fantastic! Yummy yummy. It was a good chance for everyone to meet up together too. Love gatherings like that. <3 Okay, this post doesn't do justice to the real stuffs. I think I sounded monotone. Hahaha! All in all, I think Gil and everyone of us had enjoyed ourselves. Much love yo.

It's the start of a new semester. The time for me to catch up with my studies and pull up by GPA. I must really learn how to stay focus and not get distracted my other things.

Anyways, my holidays cum attachment had been good. Met new people, and met up with my own friends. During the attachment, I'd met people who can really bring up my day. They always say I have a low sense of humour. But I really enjoy laughing, and smiling. Because I feel that I can brighten up people's days by doing that as well. I like it when my friends (and family) are having fun and feeling happy with me. I feel.... important? Hah. Maybe that's not really the right word to describe how I feel but that's the only word I can think of now.
It was a fruitful vacation I can say. I got to meet up with quite a number of people. Dinner with frisbee people at chompang (the nasi lemak and tauhuay there is damn shiok!), steamboat at gil's with jie ying and wen zhuang, dinner meet up with japh, minli and munyee, lunch meet up with angela and shawn, watching spu playing grab huck score at sengkang (plus dancing and singing crazily with angela), angels outings and stayover, dinner meet up with shi jia and glory, sentosa with my lovely class 24 (camwhoring was the booms), Justina's birthday surprise (got to meet up with Jialin, Tanty, Joey, SJ, and the rest of the IJ touch peeps!). I'd really enjoyed the company, much loves.

I was home alone today. I tried to study while watching tv, not productive at all. Hahaha. And then I checked my phone. I received a missed call from Gil. So I called her back and she asked me if i'm free for dinner. I was happy at that point of time. (: Was feeling so stress, depress and stuffs like that for the past few days. And this phone call made my day.
Met Gil and WZ at the bus stop near WZ's house. Then we headed down to chom pang to meet Eunice, Jie Ying, Pei Rong, and Wenya! Chit chat and caught up abit with one another while having dinner. I felt happy and relax. Just a simple dinner, I'm satisfied enough :)))

Followed Wan Jing home along with Xiao Wen to get some participants list for Peter after the briefing to the helpers ytd. Had dinner at retro cafe near her place. I had breaded fish plus rice. Niceeeee. The fish is woo, super soft! But abit salty. They find it okay though. Maybe it's just me. Hahahaha. And WJ treated as the dessert of the day! Banana fritters with ice cream. Just like the fish, the banana fritters are duper soft! A little too sweet I think. But overall very nice. And super filling. By the time the dessert came, XW and I were dying alr. Full ttm! 18 June 2009, Thursday. Oiyi back from Americaaaaaaa!
Lunch + badminton + table tennis with Angels at 12. Laugh like we nvr laughed bfore. The way we play ping pong is really damn hilarious. We can play till the ball drop onto the floor and continue playing on the floor. Hahahahahahahaha. Rested after sometimes when we felt so tired, arms aching. And Tiff bought sweets, chewing gum and bubble gum for us from Msia! So we started chewing here and there. Chew chew chew. Headed to the stadium at arnd 3 plus. The sun was damn annoying I swear. Super hot. Drain away our energy. So, training started and there were two people from don't know where, wanted to film/take photos of our training. So we were requested to play a game for them to shoot and do some funny stuffs. I think Brenda was quite angry cause that thing took up quite sometime to finish. Oh and it was her birthday that day. Then drills, recap of moves, blah blah blah. Zuby and I left earlier. Quickly went to bathe and headed down to Oi Yi's place. Ah, I miss her alooooooooooot. Finally back to Singapore. Saw Cherie, Joey, Justina, Shi Jia, and Xiao Qing. All the long time no see people! Had piizza, chips and carrot cake. THE CARROT CAKE IS DAMN NICE. But oily :/ Hahaha. But it's really very nice! Hahahaha. Then went down to the water. I CHANGED BACK TO MY TRAINING CLOTHES. EEEEEEEE-YUCK! Hahahaha. So the water was contaminated by me. Ah ha. Don't care. Played 'eagle catch chicks' (HAHA DIRECT TRANSLATION, I don't know what is it called in english), etc etc. Damn fun and funny. Hahahahaha. But time had to pass so quickly. Hello peeeeople! Hahahaha. It's been really long since I last update. Got really really really lazy to update and post up all the photos. Hahaha.
Anyhow, IT'S THE HOLIDAAAAAYS! Wooo.
A short 3 weeks school vacation. And after that is the horrible MST. :(
This holiday is going to be busy for me, like since when it's not right. I can't wait for the sem break! The long long holidays. I've got so many people to meet up with, but time clashes and all that. I rarely have time for myself! Technically, I only have two weeks of holidays cause the third week is booked for my studies alr. Hahahaha. Mst, don't play play. I don't want to screw up my Mst man. And the worst thing is that I have SIX FREAKING PAPERS. Goodness......
Have alot alot alot of things to update about but I don't know where to begin with.
Oh yes, I'm currently addicted to Gossip Girl. Hahaha. I'm still at Season 1 now. Okay I know I'm abit slow. And and boys over/bfore flowerssss! I'm still at Episode 6. :/ Hahahahhaa. I used to be quite fast when it comes to watching dramas. But these days, I'm really busy. Out almost everyday, till my mum nags at me.

Went to Sentosa with the FO campers and helpers ytd! There's no way I'm going to miss this year's FO outing cause I missed last year thanks to my injured ankle.
Met Calista at Woodlands at 9, to Admiralty and waited for Zane and Nash. Zane told us he dreamt that he bathed this morning and took his bag and almost walked out of house. Luckily he realised just right bfore he opens the door. Haha. Super hilarious. And he told us something cute his primary 5 sister did to him. Haha. And Nash was late. Haha. Headed down to Subway at Vivocity for bfast. Wang Chang and Carolyn met us there and met Lawrence and Selina there. Went to Giant to buy drinks and then to the top of Vivo to meet everyone else.
Went to Palawan Beach since Siloso is under renovation. And when we reached there, we realised half of the beach was booked for some event. So we had to shift our stuffs from one point to another until we finally got a 'safe' spot.

Tried to play beach touch. But it was quite hard to teach. Other than beach touch, we played frisbee and monkey! Monkey in the sea. Cool right. Hahaha. But after sometimes, I decided to stop playing cause I can feel something stinging my legs. I don't know whether it's itchy or pain.

Then it started pouring. The rain got heavier and heavier. Went to the bus interchange for shelter. And we started doing camp cheers/songs while waiting for the rain to stop.

After we stopped cheering, I wanted to learn how to smack people with towel bcause Charles did that to me. Then JS said, "if you want to learn how to do it, you will first have to experience it." So he smacked me with the towel with a super loud PIAK. It felt like I got canned. And everyone who heard that was shocked and then put him down and TEH NEH JIIII. HAHAHA.

He got up after we finished teh-ing his neh ji. Then he took a look at my leg and rubbed it. And his leg/toes started to cramp. KARMA! Hahahaha. Damn funny. One of his leg cramped, then the other started to cramp too. And then one stop, the other cramp, and it went on for quite awhile. Hahahaha.

Went to bathe after the rain stopped.

Headed back to Vivo after that. And this is the first time I had to queue in order to take the tram. There were really alot of people.

Ta bao-ed our dinner to the skypark and occupied a small section of it. And TP was there too, occupying half of it? We did SP Oi which made the TP people think that we wanted a cheer war? And they started cheering for half an hour (I think?) non stop. It was cool and impressive at first. But then it got bored when we cldn't figure out what they were cheering and when they repeated their cheers. And we cldn't do anything abt it cause we were obviously outnumbered. So we just continued to eat our food and do our own things. While some of us went over there and joined them which cause them to lose their voice. HAHA.

Went home after that. The TP people cldn't stop cheering so we just walked off. Overall, it was fun and great. But I had muscle aches on my arms and shoulders. Probably the result of dunking people. Haha. And I got darker as usual.

Feeling sick now :( School's starting in a week's time. Booooo.

I'M BACK FROM CAMPPPPPP! And my kias group name is called BALOOM!
I didn't regret becoming a GL. Have that sense of achievement after the camp.
I'm proud of my kias. They did well even without us having to lead them. Everytime they mastered a camp cheer/song, I will feel happy. And I will smile if you realised. Haha. It's very rewarding. Omg horrible. I was on my bed at 12am last night and I cldn't sleep till 4 plus. It was so annoying. Like, I'm very tired but I can't fall asleep! So, I have puffy eyes now. Oh great. Argh. Job interview and shopping with Pearlyn and Wan Jing later on. And then training. I'm soooo tired.

I'm going to be so busy this holiday! But I rather have that than a boring holiday :D

SURF AND SWEAT 2009! 1 March 2009 :D
Woke up at 5am! Freaking early. Supposed to wake up at 430am though... Met the angels and burners at 7am at Harbour Front. As usual, people were late. Haha.
It was an ultra super duper hot and sunny day. And ended off with a super duper heavy rain. But I guess I had fun despite getting darker and burnt... And more muscle aches and abrasions. I had fun and met people I haven't seen for a long time!

And the heavy rain came... Everyone ran to the tents for shelter. And I think it was a good bonding session. Digging a tunnel to drain the water away, preventing the water from coming into our place so that the bags won't get wet, and the sharing of chips. It was... fun and funny!

Decided to walk to Palawan beach after some times. The rain didn't get smaller though. Horrible. Bathe at the toilet there. Some bathed inside the cubicles while some others bathed at the open showers...

And today, went for job interview at TCC. Don't think I will get the job though.

Met up with the Marina Barrage event team after that. Games brain storming while walking around Esplanade and the place near the Merlion. I got to know that the Merlion was being striked by lightning on 28 Feb. The Merlion looked like it's balding. Hahaha.
Then rushed back school for training. I feel good after training! The drills we did today were quite enjoyable though tiring sometimes. And I lost my money AGAIN. Why people keep stealing my money?! Argh. Annoying! So angry. Stop stealing my money assholes >: (

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Last paper is finally over. Killer paper though. Oh wells. Don't want to think about it. Went cine with Derek, Edmund, Emily, Eugene, Jia Jia, Kexin, Mega, Pearlyn and Yangyi and caught "He's just not that into you." Really really really nice movie. At least the girls thought so. Worth watching. As for the guys.. I'm not sure cause Edmund slept throughout the whole movie. But mainly because he didn't sleep for 24 hours I think? The movie is really hilarious and sweet (: 5 thumbs up!

And, it's the holidays! Wheeeee.

9 FEBURARY 2009, EMILY'S 19TH!

Went to school early to celebrate Emily's birthday. Met up at 1.30pm. BUT, the main lead was late. How late? Super late. She reached at 2.45pm. LOL. As usual, tardy queen. And we told her to meet at 1pm cause we know she'll be late. But then.... she was still very late. Hahaha.
So meanwhile, we took random photos here and there while waiting.

Had been busy cleaning up my room every weekends to get ready for cny. And during this cleaning process, I read the letters and small little notes people gave me during secondary school. Brought back memories. And realised how much I have drifted away from them. Some still in contact, some mia alr. A few are in the same school as me, but still, not as close as before. I should start taking initiative contacting them. Oh yes, I definetly miss playing captain's ball with 4 Humility.

So, 2009 is here. Few things to update about. (I haven't even finished updating about my malaysia trip).

1. IVP. For the first time, I feel so scared to play for the most of the time. But it was a good experience. And for the first time, we got into semi-finals (: This IVP was like a rollercoast ride. Alot of ups and downs.
Before the TP game, we had a bowling session. Jazreel lied to us that we were going to have prep talk and light training. But when we reached the stadium, she told us that we're not going to do that. White lies... The bowling session was really fun. My first time playing (:

2. Awards ceremony.
Brenda gave out awards such as most valuable player, the best communicators, the best supporters, etc etc. Took alot of photos before the awards ceremony.

CIP DAY
Went to the society for physically disabled to do our CIP. Do cleaning service. Started off with the children section. They have got lots of toys! And all of them look so fun and cool. We played a little while cleaning. Had lunch at the nearby market. Then proceed to the adults. Clean all the gym equipments. Super dirty! Worse than that children section. And they made us clean their cupboards and staff area! Tsk. Took some photos with my camera and phone. Haven't upload the photos from my phone. Photos from camera:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIA LIN! <3

Primary school gathering at my place! Only 7 people in total this year though. A few not free, and a few overseas. Awwww.
First was watching tv, and then play card games. Heart attack is the bomb! Reminiscence. Those primary school days... Haha. It's still as fun! All the screams and pain. Mind you, I'm not a sadist. (: Had other games and Xin Yi was the ultimate loser. So there's a forfeit for her...
We had our dinner first. And then here goes the forfeit - to finish up all the leftover food + 7 green chilli cubes (?). She hates the green chilli. Haha. She ate them as though she's eating medicine tablets. Just swallow it down. And she was damn full alr, but had to finish all the leftovers with a time limit. It's been long. Getting really lazy to update. And to add on, had been busy. Or I'm just procrastinating. Anw, I've turned 17 about two weeks ago and I enjoyed my birthday. Really touched with what angels, classmates, spu, fellow gymmates had did to me. Really appreciate it. I will update again with the photos, but I don't think it will be soon cause MST is coming and I feel really unprepared for it.

4 October 2008;Jim's early birthday celebration.
There was ZD training in the morning. Then Elaine and Wan Yu came over to my house. And they were very lucky cause my mum cooked chicken rice that day when she doesn't really cook often. Super nice chicken rice! Hahaha. Met Derek, Jim, Rudy and Tammy at Causeway point. Supposed to shop for present for Linus. And also an excuse to lure Jim out. Then after awhile, we said we want to go home already. Jim was pissed cause we asked him out for awhile then want to go home. Haha. So we girls cabbed over to the mama shop near Jim's house. Got some food and drinks. Then walked to Jim's block. And on the way there, we saw Jim walking home. So we slowed down our steps and all. Met up with Yang Jie and friends then they lure him out of his house. And the water bomb plus flour war began.... Jim even hurt his knee in order to escape from us. He slipped off and slide on the carpark. Knee bled.

1st October 2008;Angels at Caryn's house.
